Vague Atelier is a project born in September 2021 and unveiled to the public in January 2022. It comes to life through the hands and minds of mother and daughter, in a rural farmhouse in the Tuscia countryside—home and atelier.

Vague Atelier is an e-commerce focused on selling vintage wedding dresses. 
Our products are meticulously selected, offering a wide range from anonymous vintage tailored pieces and designer items to restored vintage bridal gowns, creating new models while saving precious fabrics.

The idea springs from a deep passion for garments that hold the charm of other lives, the flavor of past stories, and the scent of changed places. A wedding dress typically lives and dies in a single day—why not give it the chance to live something else?

Vague thrives on the desire to bring these high-end tailored fashion creations to a rebirth, aiming to dismantle stereotypes and preconceptions tied to their traditional role. For us, there are no limits on wearability based on gender, sexuality, or orientation—and thus no "appropriate" or "inappropriate" contexts.
It's simply the individual's will to bring them to life and adapt them to their unique identity.
