FAQ
Each creation at Vague Atelier is a one-of-a-kind piece, the result of a careful restoration and upcycling process. For this reason, no reproductions in different sizes exist.
We consider generic sizing labels (such as 40/42 or S/M/L) reductive and approximate for a wedding gown, and we advise against relying on them.
The fit of each piece is defined exclusively by its actual measurements. We invite you to set aside your usual size and instead compare your body measurements with those listed on the product page. Feel free to reach out for any further clarification.
We are here to offer you complete peace of mind and full transparency. If you have any doubts, you can send us your measurements: shoulders, chest circumference, bust circumference, waist circumference, hip circumference, and height.
Our team will personally compare them with those of the gown you have in mind. For total reassurance, we commit to sending additional photographs of the piece with a tape measure placed along every length and circumference, so you can see the exact proportions before purchasing.
Every gown is selected with the utmost care and undergoes a professional sanitisation and restoration process (upcycling). As these are vintage pieces, minor imperfections should not be considered flaws — rather, they are marks of the history and authenticity of each unique piece.
Choosing Vague Atelier means embracing conscious luxury. Beyond being an ethical choice that reduces the environmental impact of new textile production, it celebrates the craftsmanship of the past — gifting you a piece that no other bride in the world will ever wear.
