Vague proposes this dress for the Big Day and why not also for the years to come! It is our creative philosophy to offer you dresses that can live beyond and not be forgotten in the closet. The dress is in ivory-colored taffeta, a versatile, fresh, and light model, it features shoulder straps and flares with drapes along the entire body; the detail that makes it unique and original is the raw hemp yarn used to create the hand-sewn bows scattered over the entire surface of the gown. The hemp threads come from large hanks of raw hemp ready for the weaving of bridal trousseaus. In ancient times, in Italy, particularly in the 1800s and early 1900s, the hemp plant was worked for wedding trousseaus, a fresh fabric very similar to linen. The bows, created by us, are of various sizes and deliberately ruffled, imperfect, lived-in. The color of the bows is ecru, very similar to the color of rope. We like to imagine a modern bride who looks to the past, to a pure and romantic aesthetic. The conditions of the dress are excellent.
